Where can I find information on fishing gear set up and rigging?

My friend told me about different rigging, I want to know how to do it.
Sorry, I am fishing for catfish, on shore and on a boat, what kind of rigging or setup should I use? What kind of bait do I use?
What kind of rigging do I use?
Is there a website that I can go to to find info and pics of different setups for this kind of fishing?

depends on what species you’re targeting, what body of water you’re fishing, and a sordid variety of other factors. Please provide more information as to where, what, when you are fishing to get more valuable information. (e.g. carolina rigging, texas rigging, spreaders, sliders, live bait, trolling, mooching, drifting, jigging etc….)

Hello!

Your best bet as someone wanting to get out and fish for that type of fish is to go to http://www.in-fisherman.com and type catfish into the site search. This will bring up dozens of magazine articles discussing exactly what you need to know- General internet search is your best option- unless you know someone who can take you- then get out there and try what works best for you! Good Luck………..
