this is Bout Fishing Supplies?

I was wondering if any one knows if the is a bober that makes noise when a fish bites. The reason is that my grandfather had a stroke and lost his eye sight and really misses going fishing. Please help…
Thanks

Just found this on Ebay. It attaches to rod and when you get a hit the rod makes an audible noise.Just set a button to reset. I looked all over for a bobber that beeps and this is the only thing I could find that even comes close to what you need.

There is a little bell you can get to put at the end of your pole, and when it wiggles your grandfather will hear it. Just go to any fishing supply store and ask them for a fishing pole bell.

with being blind the best way for your grandfather to fish would be to ledger you don’t use a float just a weight and you can buy bite alarms that you set up near your reel they just clip on the line and when a fish pulls the line they bleep and you can set the sensitivity to how big the fish are that you are catching you can buy then from most fishing tackle shops.hope this helps

Ist and more important your grandad has a pretty good grandchild to be lookin’ out for him, especially with somethin’ that he really enjoys (like ta’ see more ppl involved like yourself). Use ta’ catfish at night and we used a tiny bell, brass in color (looks somethin’ like a teeeny cow bell), just cast out (tight line) then clip on tip of rod. Believe me he’ll hear it ;)! Easy and real economical, somethin’ like a few dollars. You can pick them up at any fishing tackle store, Walmart and or Kmart. “Fish On”, grandfather…
Here is another version, again reasonable price…

when i take my grandfather fishing we usually have 4 or 5 grand kids along …….well when that bobber goes down 5 kids (including me) all yell BOBBER DOWN GRAN PA…he laughs and catches the fish

Nothing to add to these answers except, when using the bell you must take it off when casting or you will lose it, done it many times myself. It’ll fly almost as far as your bait. HA HA HA (not funny really get’s expensive)

About the Bell don’t hook it to the line I usually hook to the second guide form the tip then i tie it off wth some mono so you can cast with it my step daughter loves the bells

they have bells that clip on your rod
