Double Check Your Hunting and Fishing Supply List Before You Head Out

If you are preparing for an excursion into the great outdoors to do some hunting or fishing then one wise move would be to make a check list of everything that you will be needing before you leave. Chances are, that you are going to forget to bring some essentials along on your trip but the idea is to keep them to a minimum.

Make sure that you bring more than one flashlight and plenty of extra batteries, because trying to get things done in the dark in the middle of nowhere is no fun at all. Another thing that you will want to do is to buy a big 5 gallon container and fill it with drinking water, so you are sure not to run out.

Bug repellent is a must and you might think of bringing two cans in case the first one runs out. Another good idea is “Raid Yard Guard” that you can spray your camp site with if the mosquitoes or biting flies are especially bad. A can of spray ant poison can come in handy also if your camp site is over run by ants.

A good head net will also pay for itself many times over while you are in the field if the bugs are out. If you are planning on staying for more than a day or so, you will need some soap as well because you will get dirty real quick when you are camping.

Still more things for your hunting and fishing supply list is a warm ski cap and some warm gloves in case it gets cold. If you are going to be hunting or fishing in high altitudes than make doubly sure you bring warm clothing, because a nice warm day can turn into a freezing cold night when you are in the high desert or mountains.
