just an fyi. with a sharp blade & knowledge of mans past deeds, hooks are easily made from wood or bone so number is a moot point. I fish a lot & haven’t used other then for 35 years. When I loose one I just carve another (helps to have several from the start though) as I fish. =o) But you are 100% correct on how to use multiple hooks to best advantage. Together on one string means more weight that may get hooked. 1 big or 2+ small fish can snap a line.

In a real survival situation I would strongly reccomend NOT to apply a lot of hooks… If you only ahave a limited ammount of hooks, you don`t want to loose them all if a real big boy bites, and breaks your fishingline. Better to set out more hooks at various places in the fishingwater, on different strings..

Jokes aside, condoms are light weight, protected more so than a normal balloon, but there are other uses for something like that.. if need be to hold water, slice it up for various applications. plus its less likely that some one randomly stranded would have a random lucky bobber. remmber these are survival skills. learn to make use of anything u might have on hand. how many of you morons carry anything useful on you at all times that could help you stay alive?
